Trans-Asia Announces Founding of Diplomat Events

Sydney, Trans-Asia Inc. is pleased to announce the founding of Diplomat Events Pty., Ltd. to provide event and association management services. Diplomat Events will operate under the aegis of Lexxicorp Pty., Limited, the Trans-Asia Group's holding company in Australia.

Trans-Asia has accumulated considerable expertise in event and association management, both through the management of the Australia Japan Business Association (AJBA) and its events, and through its involvement in events hosted by The Diplomat magazine. Predicting that the number of conferences and seminars hosted by members of the Trans-Asia Group will only increase going forward, the Company made the decision to establish Diplomat Events to both operate these events and to share its expertise with other companies and nonprofit organizations.

Diplomat Events will also be an extension of The Diplomat brand, and will both reinforce and benefit from Trans-Asia's publishing business. One of the first events that it will manage will be the launch of The Diplomat's Global 100, which this year will be a gala dinner featuring new Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.

Natasha Nicholas, who has been associated with the AJBA since soon after its launch will be appointed to head up the team of event and association management specialists at Diplomat Events.

The Company's business includes translation and other language services, investor relations services and Web development. Trans-Asia Group companies also operate businesses in publishing, recruitment, training, and event management sectors.
